Agriculture in India is a profession fraught with uncertainties due to weather and market fluctuations. In these circumstances, the central government is implementing the 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi' (PM KISAN) scheme to provide financial support to farmers. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three installments.
